East End Library and Community Hub is located on the busy Shields Road and has ground-floor level access with automatic doors. We have a hearing loop to assist communication with hearing-impaired people, free WiFi and a public toilet. At East End Library and Community Hub, we have: Very good local bus routes in both directions. - Byker Metro is just a 4-minute walk away. - Cycle racks are close by on Flora Street. - Limited free parking is available on local streets to the side and rear of the building, but not on Shields Road itself.
